Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Operator will review the task(s), hazards, environment, and mitigation of hazards prior to beginning the job or any time the job conditions change
  • Drive equipment and trucks in a safe manner
  • Loads and hauls equipment according to qualification status
  • Operates certain equipment and tools on site and trains others on the proper operation of that equipment including maintenance as to where all elements and other items receive daily and weekly maintenance
  • Follows Basic Machine Maintenance
  • Oversees and maintains the equipment assigned
  • Repairs and maintains equipment on job site
  • Completes daily or weekly equipment reports and turn in on time
  • Takes direction from the crew foreman as to the order and manner that activities are to be accomplished
  • Discusses alternatives to help increase safety and productivity
  • Works with crew to meet the daily work schedule
  • Ensure all employees and site visitors are following safety guidelines and have signed the JSA
  • Performs fence repair, gate installation, finding access, and traffic control
  • Maintain tools for equipment repair and crew safety
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the crew foreman
  • Attend Tailgate safety meetings each morning
  • Shall follow all company safety guidelines
  • Shall wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the job duties
  • Shall notify the crew foreman if other members of the crew, other contractors on-site, or members of the general public on-site are not working or behaving in a safe manner
  • Report safety violations, incidents, or near misses to crew foreman

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver license
  • Efficient with laptops and tablets
  • Ability to pass drug screen
  • Dependable transportation
  • Experience on tractors, skid steers and UTV
  • Ability to complete daily check list for equipment

Preferred:

  • Class A CDL
  • Twic card
  • Osha card

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • To comply and ensure compliance with all Vantage Industrial Services safety procedures
  • Develop and Manage the project plans including the work schedule
  • Coordinate the development of project plans and objectives with the production manager
  • Manage, track, and report production.
  • manage employee performance and compliance issues; engaging management and the human resource department as required per company practices
  • Ensure completion of all administrative requirements including but not limited to daily, weekly, monthly, project level reports and data entry
  • Efficiently direct the management and maintenance of Vantage Industrial services tools and equipment including but not limited to basic machine maintenance, scheduled service, and repairs
  • Ensure on-site communications including but not limited to daily plan briefings and debriefings, JSA’s, and tailgate meetings
  • Train on-site personnel on proper operation and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Report and document all safety violations, incidents, near misses, and lessons learned to the production manager and the Safety Department immediately
  • Provide production manager feedback on plans, performance, equipment, or work practices that may improve production and/or safety of the project
  • Coach crew members
  • Communicate business opportunities to Business Development
  • Ability to read and comply with customer specifications and drawings

Required:

  • Valid Driver license

  • Ability to coordinate civil construction and vegetation management crews
  • Ability to complete daily paperwork and communicate to office and crew members

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance (John Deere Tractors, Trucks, Trailers, Brush Hogs, Hydraulic Systems, Electrical Systems, Gyro Trac’s, Jarraffs, ATV’s)
  • Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts
  • Repairing damaged equipment parts
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles
  • Cleaning and servicing of machine attachments like winches, blades, and side booms
  • Performing major repair work when necessary
  • Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver License
  • Ability to pass drug screen
  • Ability to lift heavy machinery
  • Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment
  • Ability to complete daily time sheets, work orders, and paperwork

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
  • Proven work experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
  • Understanding of computer testing technologies
